Global skincare brand Aēsop partnered with us to create the Adventurer Roll Up, a compact and stylish accessory designed to conveniently transport hand care essentials. This timely collaboration was crafted to address the increased need for personal hygiene on the go, making it easier to cleanse and hydrate hands while commuting, traveling, or being out and about. Limited to 300 pieces, each Adventurer Roll Up was individually handcrafted in East London using reclaimed 1960s aeronautical navigation maps, emphasising sustainability and uniqueness.
Approach:
The Adventurer Roll Up project aimed to blend Aēsop’s commitment to quality skincare with our focus on sustainability and craftsmanship. To achieve this, we utilised reclaimed materials and employed skilled artisans in East London, ensuring each piece was not only functional but also a unique work of art. The limited-edition nature of the product, with each piece being individually numbered, added an element of exclusivity and collectibility. Furthermore, we extended the impact of the collaboration by offering an open-source pattern, allowing customers to create their own versions of the Roll Up using surplus fabric from their homes.
